The AIPP is the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers. Accreditation as a professional photographer is something unique to the AIPP, and I first joined the Institute in December 2011.

Why Choose A Pro?

Accreditation provides a certainty for both us as professionals, and for our clients. Read more about it on the AIPP website

My proudest moment with the AIPP was in 2013 I was a runner-up for Victorian Emerging Photographer of the Year at the Victorian Professional Photography Awards, and won two Silver awards for my portrait work in that same competition. I had also been awarded two Silver awards - one for the wedding category, and one for family - in 2012, and won a Silver award in the Illustrative category in 2014. In 2015, I won a Silver award in both the family category and the travel photography.

My portrait (above) of my son Ash as a pirate, with his dog, also won a Silver award at the Australian Professional Photography Awards in 2013, with a score of 84, and was subsequently printed in the APPA winners photographic book.
